Shelford stated faster than Bury with an early try running it out from defense through their back line.

A TRY from Charlie Upright leveled things up converted by Stuart Adam, following the early Shelford breakaway try. 7 - 7 at half time.

The Second half was pretty even, after a defensive kick from Shelford, Josh Barnes dropped back to clear up after recycling the ball a couple of times a short pass reached Alexander Van der Pluym who stormed through the Shelford defensive line to make it 12-7 converstion missed.

Bury kept in front with some great defensive which included a try saving tackle holding up a Shelford back as he tried to cut through Bury players having crossed the touchline whilst trying to make the conversion easier by placing the ball down under the posts.
