Thanks to the generosity of Avant Tecno UK and the amazing ability of the Leguan 195, we were able to clean the posts on the hallowed Haberden 1st XV pitch – for this first time in eight years.

We are constantly striving to improve our facilities and the experience of our visitors. Naturally, some jobs are easier to fulfil than others but for both the aesthetic and preservation of our posts, this job was a necessity. Without Avant’s generous pledge, this would have become a mammoth task that may have slipped from the list once again.

As it is, we were able to clean the posts and complete some other ‘tricky tasks’ with absolute ease over the course of a few hours.

When Avant Tecno UK moved to their new HQ in Bury St Edmunds, it was clear that they wanted to make a mark within the community they serve. Beyond supporting other local causes and clubs, they are providing jobs to members of our community and collaborating with multiple local businesses within the region.

This intention has carried into their support of Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club and already we have benefited as they live out their values:
