The club’s first match, a pre-season friendly against Westcombe Park, will take place on Saturday 22nd August at home, (3.00pm kick-off), after which all players will be available to meet and greet sponsors and spectators. A final warm up game ahead of the new season will take place on Saturday 29th August at 3pm at home, with all spectators welcome.
Speaking about the new 2015-16 squad Gavin Hogg, Director of Rugby said, “I am delighted to announce the new squad, a blend of existing club players and new signings. I am particularly pleased that five players have been promoted from our Junior Academy which was introduced two seasons ago to develop and nurture local players to senior level and demonstrates that the JA is proving to be successful in its aims.”
“Our goal to retain 90% of our squad from last season has been achieved. These players wanted to continue to be a part of the Club’s journey and to help achieve our aims and ambitions and were eager to re-sign, as we take on the challenge of National League Two Rugby”, added Gavin.
