Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club are delighted to announce that the world famous, Branston, have pledged their support to the #buryrugbyjourney in an exciting new partnership.

First made in the village of Branston in 1922, the iconic Branston pickle has been a kitchen staple everyday since, bringing fans the unique and tangy flavour that Branston continues to bring home for over a century. We cannot deny the homely, heartening, and warm fuzzy feeling the brand and its products exude.

There is a great deal of synergy between the Branston and Bury Rugby brands – epitomised by multiple shared values, ethos and objectives. The main Branston mission is to bring people together and both brands recognised that a truly community rugby club, such as Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, provides a perfect vehicle for this opportunity.

Together, we have curated a multi-channel partnership that will highlight our synergies to the benefit of our brands, Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club members and individuals within the Branston family.

Branston join our commercial portfolio as a Premium Sponsor and have extended their support via multiple physical advertising assets, community team sponsorship, sponsorship of Women’s 1st XV player, Immie Smith, and dug-out sponsorship. Moreover, with Branston’s main production efforts based here, in Bury St Edmunds, we are excited that this partnership will be regularly actioned and lived out by a number of Branston personnel.

We are excited to welcome 4 Branston employees to every Men’s 1st XV home game next season for some Haberden Hospitality and to enjoy a pre-match luncheon with us. You will also see Branston products utilised throughout our Hospitality offering across the club.
