We are delighted to announce that Kingfisher Press are the Official Graphics and Print Partner of Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, for 2024 and beyond.
We are also sincerely grateful to Paul Midforth and the team at Kingfisher for supporting the #buryrugbyjourney further as a club sponsor too – something they extend to multiple sports clubs and organisations in the region.
Kingfisher Press is an established litho, high definition digital and wide format printer based here, in Bury St Edmunds.
As a club, we have a frequent requirement for graphic and print assets - such as fixture stickers, advertising boards or promotional materials.
We were therefore delighted to welcome Kingfisher Press into the #buryrugbyfamily, to help us with this prominent and important service requirement.
The relationship will see Kingfisher Press fulfilling all the print requirements of the club. Most often, this will mean working closely with our commercial team to facilitate the design, proofing and creation of our advertising boards. However, they will also work closely with our marketing and hospitality teams to aid with their respective requirements too.
Partnerships Manager, Will Affleck said: “We are so pleased to welcome Kingfisher Press into the Bury Rugby Family. They are a local brand with an exceptional reputation - that we are already seeing is well deserved. They are helpful, efficient and offer a very high-quality service, at very reasonable costs.
As a club that fosters a sustainable commercial model, we have a constant requirement for advertising boards – on top of the day-to-day print requirements of any business. To that end, this will be a very valuable relationship for our club and we look forward to developing this partnership for many seasons to come."
More about Kingfisher Press.
“We know that whilst quality and service in print may be relatively simple to define, they are far from simple to achieve. Investment in the latest technology certainly helps, as does a grounding in printing’s traditional skills and standards.
But it is the recognition that every job we undertake must mirror the many hours of thought and effort put in by our clients – before any ink is put on paper – that makes the real difference.
That’s why you’ll find we call the moment we’ve the slightest concern about colour balance, paper weight or delivery – simply because we believe it’s the end result that counts – and only attention to detail can achieve that end.
It’s also the reason we keep all pre-press and virtually all finishing in house where quality can be best controlled. A policy that led a move to customised premises in 2002, along with the creation of enhanced studio facilities and investment in advanced Computer to Plate technology.
Above all though – if one thing marks us out – it’s that we still see print as a craft that demands skill, passion and care.”
