Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club is delighted to announce an exciting new partnership with David Lloyd Clubs, Bury St Edmunds, who will take on the role of Official Health Club Partner for the club.

Located just a short drive from the town centre, David Lloyd Clubs, Bury St Edmunds offers a wide range of facilities, including state-of-the-art gym equipment, group fitness classes, swimming pools, spa and wellness facilities, and courts for tennis and Padel – making it the perfect partner for a club committed to performance, recovery, and wellbeing.

The partnership has already kicked off in style with the Corporate Padel Tournament on Friday 5th September 2025, hosted by David Lloyd Clubs. The event brought together local businesses for a fun and competitive afternoon of sport, building community connections and highlighting the club’s commitment to engagement beyond the pitch.

Throughout the 2025/26 season, the club’s Men’s and Women’s 1st XV squads will benefit from access to David Lloyd’s recovery facilities, supporting performance and preparation for matches. Selected teams across the club – including Colts U18s and Men’s 2nd, 3rd, and 4th XVs – will also enjoy exclusive sessions combining group fitness classes with full use of the club’s facilities.

The partnership also offers David Lloyd Clubs multiple branding opportunities across our platforms, including match-day business showcases and exposure across our communications channels, giving the club’s community and partners regular touch points with the brand. Members, sponsors, and partners will also have access to exclusive corporate rates, encouraging more people to take advantage of David Lloyd Clubs’ premium health and fitness offerings. Additionally, David Lloyd Clubs and Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club will collaborate on a special competition during the season to promote health, wellness, and community engagement across all levels of the club.
