The Men’s 1st XV will kick off proceedings at home to Old Albanian RFC on Saturday 2nd of September. Unusually, this will then be followed immediately by another home game, this time against local rivals, North Walsham – a mouth-watering prospect so early in the season. The remainder of the opening month will see the Wolfpack face Henley Hawks, Sevenoaks and Tonbridge Juddians.

The Christmas fixture this season will be away at North Walsham on Saturday 16th of December and the last home game for the Bury Boys will be on Saturday 13th of April v Guernsey Raiders.

The Women’s 1st XV will have to wait a little longer to kick off their much anticipated 2023 Women’s Championship Midlands 2 campaign, but they will be relishing the challenge of an away day opener against Lichfield on Sunday 17th of September. In contrast to the Men’s 1st XV, the Women’s 1st XV will need to navigate back-to-back away games first up but will be excited to return to the Haberden on Sunday 8th of October for their opening home gambit of 2023.

The 1’s will also be looking forward to their own Christmas extravaganza when they welcome Old Albanian II’s to The Haberden on Sunday 17th of December. Excitingly, the women will also have the honour of closing out the season in front of the Haberden Faithful on Sunday 7th of April, again against Lichfield.

Pitchero is yet to publish the full fixture list through the club website for the Women’s 1st XV, but as soon as this is complete, we will be offering the same calendar integration function on these fixtures too. The Men’s 2nd XV, Wolves and Rovers will be looking for strong and consistent seasons after mixed campaigns last time out. They will be competing in Counties 1 Eastern Counties League, Eastern Counties Greene King Division 1 West & Eastern Counties Greene King Division Two South respectively, with the season consisting of both league and cup rugby.
