Current Foxes 1st XV player and Women’s Rugby Chairwoman, Grace Deane, has been invited to represent Tropic 7’s at the world-famous Dubai 7’s next week.

It goes without saying that this is a wonderful opportunity for Grace and is just reward for her efforts since taking up the game just over a year ago.

Grace is looking to make this dream a reality & to raise some funds to help cover the cost of travel. We, therefore, wanted to push this message out to the Bury Rugby family as we know many of you will be keen to support one of our own fly the Bury flag at the World’s biggest rugby sevens tournament. All donations are welcome and we have agreed that anything above the £300 target will be given to the Foxes section of the club, to help support other players progress and develop their rugby. It is our hope that other players across the club will be afforded similar opportunities moving forward and we will always do our best to support them with such opportunities.
