We are deeply disappointed to report that our club facilities were vandalised with graffiti overnight. This act of vandalism is disheartening, particularly given how new the facilities targeted are and how much time, effort, and generosity has gone into creating them.
This message serves as an acknowledgement of the damage and reassurance that we are doing our best to remove the graffiti from our facilities as soon as possible. Unfortunately, it turns out that this is going to take a little more than a wire brush and elbow grease – so we are awaiting a time where the car park is vacated, and it will be safe to use a pressure washer, in the hope this will remove the graffiti. We are hopeful that this will be facilitated this evening.
Furthermore, this message serves as a plea to those responsible or – who may be thinking of doing similar. We are a community facility with limited resources and funds for our true purpose. Acts such as this greatly draw upon these resources and funds.
We do not condone any form of vandalism.
