Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club might be a rugby club - but it is more than just a rugby club. We are deeply rooted within the community we are so proud to serve, and we are now a pillar of that same community. Indeed, it is this connection that makes us more than only a rugby club. Whilst we undoubtedly provide a rugby home to over 5,000 members and on certain days, you’ll be able to catch some of the region’s finest rugby players in action at some of the region’s most exceptional grassroots facilities - our club offers so much more besides.

Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club is somewhere to meet friends, network, reminisce, support local businesses, attend or run events, go to the gym, drink local beer and coffee, support charities, and much more. It has always been this way and always shall be. We must uphold these responsibilities to our community; as a rugby club - and beyond. To ensure this remains a hard enough task - with rising costs and a tough economic climate ensuring this. Whilst we must respect these obstacles, we must also be brave enough to continue chasing our lofty ambitions - as we also owe this to our Bury Rugby Family and local community.

We remain ambitious both on and off the field. Understanding our multi-faceted role in the community, we must continue to strive towards these ambitions. It is therefore our task to ensure and balance that Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club remains a community club - on and off the field - for another 100 years, but moreover, that the next 100 years are even better than the last.

Continued progression across the whole club, major development of our women’s and girls’ rugby offering, the launch of rugby for all in Bury St Edmunds, further charity work, major facility improvements, multiple team promotions, supporting our Women’s 1st XV in the second tier of English rugby, playing the highest level of rugby ever, an enhanced player pathway, heightened community work, the best mini and youth section in the National Leagues and much more, a brand new stadium stand - under your headline sponsorship - are all targets in the scope.
