Due to the continued dry weather and the ongoing lack of significant rainfall, we have taken the decision to move our pre-season fixtures against Oundle RFC on Saturday 15th August away from The Haberden.

Protecting our playing surface remains a priority as we prepare for the 2026/27 campaign, and with conditions continuing to be exceptionally dry, the fixtures will now be played at Shelford RFC.

Kick-off times have swapped:

• 1:00pm – Men's 1st XV vs Oundle 1st XV
• 3:00pm – Wolfhounds vs Oundle 2nd XV

We would like to thank Shelford RFC for accommodating the fixture at short notice and appreciate the understanding of our players, supporters and volunteers as we work to protect the pitches during the current spell of hot, dry weather.

Our attention will then turn to our final pre-season fixture against Westcombe Park on Saturday 22nd August. We will continue to monitor pitch conditions over the coming weeks and will provide a further update on that fixture as soon as a decision has been made.
