Whilst the forecast remains chilly, it is looking very positive for a weekend of rugby - and it just so happens that we have a bumper weekend of rugby to deliver to you at Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club.

And in truth, the improved weather forecast and bumper fixture list has come just in time. With no competitive rugby having taken place at The Haberden since the 13th of December, we are in dire straits of some much needed income to battle the hardships of December and January.

To that end, we need you - the #haberdenfaithful.
We need you to bring your drinking boots, have that second burger and bring the club out of hibernation in 2026.

On the pitch, we have 3 home fixtures for you to enjoy:

Men's 1st XV v Oxford Harlequins - 3:00pm
Men's 2nd XV v Shelford - 2:00pm
Men's 4th XV v Mersea Island Rhinos - 2:00pm

Off the pitch, we have a fully stocked bar to help you forget Dry January. A selection of delicious snack offerings, masterfully created by our Head Chef, Jodie, to keep you warm across the afternoon. We also guarantee a roaring fire and great music to welcome you into the clubhouse.

We have a jam packed pre-match luncheon, with guests enjoying Avant Match Day Haberden Hospitality thanks to the best hospitality team in the business.

We are also looking forward to welcoming our Match Day Sponsor, Pigeon, to the Atkins Dellow Suite for the afternoon.
