The club were saddened to learn of the sudden passing of former Club Captain, coach and member, Pete Trede, after a courageous battle with a lung disease.

Pete was a highly effective, skilled and combative scrum half, an ever present and popular member of the 1st XV for many years. He was always one of the first names on the team sheet. As a result he was appointed captain in 1999.

Pete was always committed on and off the pitch, also helping out with coaching before moving on to other things.

Our thoughts are with Pete's family and friends at this very difficult time. He will always be remembered at The Haberden.
