It’s another bumper weekend of rugby as we head further into the festive season. The log fire will be roaring, with a fantastic selection of food and drinks available throughout the weekend. Make your way to the Greene King IPA Haberden and back the green and gold – whether that’s pitch-side or in the clubhouse watching on the big screens.
This weekend’s action:
- Men’s 1st XV – host Dorking on Saturday, 3.00 pm in their final home fixture of 2025, sponsored by Nigel Birrell Fleet Management. Dorking currently sit 3rd in the table, just one place above the Bury boys, level on points and separated only by points difference. It’s set to be a huge afternoon at the Haberden.

- Women’s 1st XV – travel to Sale on Sunday, 2.00 pm. The match will be livestreamed in the clubhouse, with the usual selection of delicious food and drinks available. Sale currently top the table, but the reverse fixture in September flattered the hosts, so the Bury girls will be determined to turn the tables this time around.
- Men’s 2nd XV – remain unbeaten this season and put that record on the line against West Norfolk at home on Saturday, 2.00 pm. The side come into the fixture fresh after last weekend’s postponement against Ely and will be eager to keep their momentum going.
- Men’s 3rd XV (Wolves) – travel to Felixstowe on Saturday, 2.00 pm. The Wolves will be looking to build on last weekend’s convincing victory over Woodbridge.
- Men’s 4th XV (Rovers) – their fixture against Thurston has been postponed. Keep an eye out for details of the rearranged date.
- Colts – make the short trip to Ipswich on Sunday, 11.00 am. All travelling support would be hugely appreciated.
- U18 Girls – host the Titans Cluster (Wymondham, Norfolk and L&Y) on Sunday, 1.00 pm.
- Youth (Sunday):
– Minis Christmas parties
– U16 boys host Sudbury in a cup fixture
– U13 boys travel to Woodbridge
– U14 boys host Ipswich in a cup match
– U15 boys host Mistley in a cup game
