Following a brilliant week of results for Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club, we have another exciting week at The Haberden.
We have two senior fixtures featuring at The Haberden this weekend. Alongside this, we have the return of… you guessed it, Guinness. It will be at The Haberden for the duration of the Six Nations.
Our boys’ U13s, U14s and U15s all have exciting fixtures this weekend. They face Wymondham A, Hadleigh in U14s County Cup and Colchester, respectively. It’s a busy weekend in the girls section too, with the U12s facing Shelford and the Vixens playing against West Walsham.
It’s the return of the Colts, as they face Colchester after a rest weekend last weekend. They look to finish strongly. Alongside this, a few of our Colts played in the Suffolk vs Norfolk Counties fixture. Well done to all those involved.

The Men’s 1st XV look to finish the final few months of the season strongly, following a rest weekend after running Dorking to the wire and narrowly losing by 1 point. They face a strong Sevenoaks side who are on a great run of form.
Jacob Ford has named a strong side for the fixture, with the return of James Harrison and Calvin Mitchell into the squad following on from the win at Colchester. Captain, George Grigg-Pettitt continues to be side-lined through injury, and Alex Earnshaw comes into the starting XV to replace Euan Rees.
The Men’s 2nd makes up the other senior home fixture this weekend, as they look to continue their winning streak as they creep out of the bottom three after strong wins against Diss and Ipswich.
The 2s face a strong Southwold side, who are on a good run of form. AJ Morgan has named a strong side with the return of captain, Will Kingston.
The 3rd and 4th XV can enjoy a rest weekend, after an intense run of fixtures.
There are no matches in the minis section this weekend. However, they can look forward to a fun weekend of training.
We would also like to welcome and thank our Match Day Sponsor, Atkins Dellow Solicitors.

We would also like to welcome our Match Day Charity Partner, Service by Emergency Response Volunteers (SERV).
SERV (Service by Emergency Response Volunteers) Suffolk & Cambridge are a charity organisation who provide a free transport service to the NHS for the transport of blood, blood products, medicines, medical equipment and human milk.
The charity is on call 24/7 365 days a year and responds to requests straight away to deliver to Hospitals in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire, or take samples and products from hospitals to Laboratories, hospices or the public.
The deliveries are made using a combination of liveried bikes, cars and members personal vehicles, at their own cost.
Providing this service avoids the NHS having to rely on taxi's so removing that cost, plus the administration of managing the transport helping to reduce the costs to the NHS.
Once again, we have a full weekend of rugby. As usual, you can find all the full squads on the club’s social media channels.
