About Us: Bury St Edmunds Rugby Club is a vibrant and well-established club with a strong community presence. Our bar is a central hub for members and guests, providing a welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the operations of our bar and enhance the overall experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

Manage the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
Lead, train, and motivate bar staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Handle inventory management, including ordering supplies and tracking stock levels.
Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and complies with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Bar Manager or in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent knowledge of beverages.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively.
Flexible working hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Relevant certification in bartending or hospitality management is an advantage.
