Dorothy Tidman captained the BSE Vixens in their first ever match on Sunday played in front of an impressive crowd at the Haberden. Having several games under their belt this season, Beccles attacked from the kick off and put points on the board after just a few minutes.
With several strong, powerful runners Beccles put the Vixens through their paces but the Vixen's rose to the challenge displaying impressive line speed and putting in some monster tackles.
Beccles continued to add points to the board, while Vixens found their strength in the rucks and mauls. Unlucky not to score in the final third of the match the Vixens showed real grit and determination, taking every opportunity to steal ball and test the Beccles defence right until the final whistle.
A fantastic first effort by Vixens, training continues on Monday evenings 7-8:30pm.
