On Sunday the Sharks visited Newmarket for the first time.
The weather was cold and wet and all the boys were keen to get going as soon as possible. Sharks had the opportunity to play Newmarket in 2 games with 7 a-side making it possible for everyone to play 2 whole games. Some excellent individual play from all the boys saw everyone crash over the line for glorious tries. More importantly, the teamwork was also clear to see. On 2 occasions Sharks achieved 6 tags in a row before Newmarket went over the line to score. One more tag would've seen a turn over ball. Quick tries always followed quick passes.
We welcome Ollie to the squad.
Finally, the morning finished well with Newmarket making us feel welcome with hotdogs. They had to be good if they were from Newmarket.
