Bury faced a strong team from Wisbech who fielded some big forwards, but with close marking and great mauling Bury managed to withstand the pressure in the first half. Bury forwards upped their game in the second half allowing the backs to make several attacking moves with Harry Haydon breaking a tackle to put Alexander Packer over for the first try. Haydon again broke through from midfield side stepping three defenders to score the second. Haydon converted both tries.

With Wotton unable to field a full squad, Bury lent them four players and with a spell of poor tackling allowed Wotton to score the only try of the match.

BURY ST EDMUNDS UNDER 11’S 15 FAKENHAM UNDER 11’S 5

In the final game Bury gave nearly all their players a run out and dominated the game from the start. From a ruck close to Fakenham’s line, Josh Dudley picked up a loose ball and crashed over for a try. A cross field break by Stephen Snook took the ball to within a couple of metres of the line before passing the ball to Harry Haydon to score. Fakenham scored a drive over try before Oliver Brindley raced over for the third try.

Zachary Rush was awarded the Man of the Match trophy.
